School fight, a punch, eye problem.?

Hello... so two days ago one guy tried to bully me up but from the beginning I thought it was a joke. He continued and I eventually went to fight him (i started the fight it wasn't self defense). I punched him very hard in the head he failed on the ground and began screaming. Of course I stopped the fight and I went with him to the doctor. He couldn't open his eye and said he see things doubly. The doctor said he should go to a specialist and that he could have hemorrhage. Eventually he said he was OK hour later but I'm still worried. I really punched him very very hard. Is there a chance he could go blind?
