How to start an urgent animal shelter?

It is great you want to help these animals but you must be careful so many people try and don't have the funding and space for the animal they take on and find they are soon over run and the animals are the ones who suffer as they are often keep in firthy conditions and aren't get the vet care they need. It isn't cheap to run a rescue . Have you thought of seeing if you could help local rescue by fostering some of they animals like this cat.
