Is it possible to get contact lenses for only one eye?
I'm sure it must be, but it's something I don't have any experience with. I lost my left eye in March to a vitreous hemorrhage, and have been considering an eye patch for that eye. I still have some basic peripheral vision in the bad eye, but not enough to make it in any way useful. The only problem is that I've been wearing glasses since I was a child, and while I know some patches can fit underneath, the idea of that is uncomfortable to me. I'm not rich, and usually go to cheap eyeglass places like America's Best or Vision for Less. If I went in and asked them to do an exam/write a prescription for only the right eye, do you think they would?
